We are a small seed company that works hard to bring you good vegetable seeds and some of the finest and most unique varieties you've ever grown. We began our retail garden seed company business sixteen years ago after about 30 years of breeding and research work. Some of the breeding projects we have been working with include: tomatoes, cucumbers, melons, bush beans, globe artichokes, perennial and annual grains as well as other garden crops. We grow the majority of our seed.

The intent of our seed company is as follows:

Preserve and distribute garden seeds of little known, rare, and under appreciated vegetables. Provide gardeners with an array of the best vegetable seeds. Provide a display and outlet for plant varieties Peters Seed & Research has developed. Encourage gardeners to become seed savers, experimenters, and explorers in the vegetable world. Supply gardeners and farmers with unique or little known cultural and cultivar (plant variety) information. Encourage discouraged gardeners, help them find answers and solutions. Help gardeners of all ages learn about plant breeding. Our gene pool mixes listed in our seed catalog are a great place to begin.
