Danish Ballhead
One of the best late, green cabbages. The medium-size plants make large,
6 - 7 lb, ball-shaped heads that are very solid. One of the original storage
cabbages. When planted to head up in the fall, will often hold in the field
until spring (if winter is mild). (100 days)
Early Jersey Wakefield
A very early cabbage with conical heads.
This New Jersey heirloom cabbage was introduced in 1840.
The heads are 2 - 3 pounds in size and mature in about 60 - 65 days.
Golden Acre YR
A fine, quick-maturing cabbage with resistance to fusarium or "yellows". The compact plants produce solid, 6 - 7", round heads. Good, mild, sweet flavor. (65 days)
Red Acre
The best early red cabbage, in our opinion. Vigorous medium-size plants
with good stress resistance. Deep purplish-red, medium size heads are hard,
round and weigh 4 - 5 lbs. (75 days)
Savoy Perfection
The leaves of this cabbage have the savoyed or "crinkled" look which adds contrast to the typical smooth leaf types. (90 days)
Nozaki Early
Bolt resistant and adaptable. The best open-pollinated variety for spring and summer sowing. 3 - 4 lb. barrel shaped heads. 60 days from seed!
