smooth butterhead leaf. Grows well in the greenhouse and outdoors.
Grand Rapids TBR
Very similar to Black-Seeded Simpson, except for its heavier light green heads
and far superior heat tolerance. Seems similar to Simpson Elite in our past trials.
Prizehead
Beautiful light-green leaves overlaid on the outer edges with an appetizing deep red-bronze.
The ruffled, slightly frilled leaves are crisp, juicy, sweet and extra mild in flavor.
Leaf color is most intense during cool weather.
Red Salad Bowl
Vigorous deep red oakleaf type lettuce, similar but in beautiful contrast to Green Salad Bowl.
